Alumni Seminar 2006

Accommodations, Meals, Schedule and other Details

Accommodations:

We are recommending that seminar attendees stay at the Best Western Southside Hotel and Suites, 4580 Collins Rd. (NW corner of the I-295 and U.S.17 intersection), Orange Park, (904)264-4466 (2 miles from the campus).

We have secured a special IWS rate of $64 + tax per night per room (Executive Suites are $77 + tax).  An additional person may stay in a room at no additional cost.  Let me know if you desire a roommate and we will try to connect those interested in sharing a room.  The faculty and staff and numerous students will be staying there as well.  When making a reservation at the hotel, just ask for the “Institute for Worship Studies” rate.  Room availability is guaranteed until May 21.  However, I would recommend reserving your room as soon as possible as space appears to be limited.  You must hold your room with a credit card to secure your reservation.

Meals:

Most of our meals will be enjoyed on campus in the refectory with the students and faculty.  The cost for these meals is separate from the registration fee and indicated below.  You only pay for the meals you choose to eat, but we must know ahead of time.  Please respond to me by email to indicate the meals you choose to eat on campus.  Payment will be due upon arrival.  You will also be responsible for the cost of your meals at local restaurants.
